Age proof must for women to worship at Lord Ayyappa Temple

An authentic age proof document is now a must for women visiting the famed Lord Ayyappa Temple in Sabarimala in Kerala, where the entry of women devotees in the age group of 10-50 is banned.

The Travancore Devaswom Board (TDB), which manages the shrine, has decided to make the age proof mandatory during the ongoing pilgrim season in view of the increasing instances of women devotees trying to trek to the hillock shrine defying the restrictions.

Two more airline get exempted from LAPTOP BAN

DUBAI: On Monday Emirates and Turkish Airways said they have also been exempted from a US ban on laptops in airplane cabins, joining Etihad in satisfying American security concerns that had cut into the long-haul carriers’ business.

It still unclear that how the airlines addressed fears that the Islamic State or other militant groups might smuggle explosives in electronic devices.
