CBSE revises Class 12 exam date sheet

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has made a change to its controversial Class 12 exam date sheet for 2018 and will now hold the Physical Education test later than scheduled.

The board issued a notification on its official website (cbse.nic.in ) on Wednesday stating that the Class 12 examination date for Physical Education, has been revised to 10.30am on April 13 from April 9 (as given in the earlier released schedule.) Govt. setting up a web portal to track NRI marriages

NEW DELHI: The ministry for Women and Child Development is setting up a website on which registrars from states across the country will have to upload details related to NRI marriages, in a move aimed at tacking the issue of NRI husbands abandoning or ill-treating their wives, sometimes abandoning them in India soon after marriage.

SEBI to finalise new norms for advisers, credit rating agencies

MUMBAI: The board of the Securities and Exchange Board of India (Sebi) will consider and approve on December 28 as many as 17 reforms, including new norms for credit rating companies and investment advisers, according to two people with direct knowledge of the development.

“We are re-looking all regulations and ensuring that all circulars are captured in regulations,” Ajay Tyagi, chairman of Sebi, said at a December 20 event.

The Sebi board will also discuss the issue of disclosure of loan defaults and publish a discussion paper on it.
