NEW DELHI: In a relief to students who took the Class 12 board exams this year, the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) told the Delhi high court on Friday that students who feel that their answer sheets were not correctly evaluated can approach the board under its verification scheme.
The CBSE said that it will give reprieve to those students who have issues with their marks but will be unable to challenge it as the board has done away with re-evaluation process.
Additional Solicitor General Sanjay Jain, appearing for the board, told the court that, “Within the limit of our verification scheme we will look into the students’ grievances”. He said the outcome of the verification will be communicated to the students on first-come-first-serve basis. Jain further said the marking schemes of CBSE for respective subjects shall be uploaded on its website soon.
